Welcome to the International Fellowships Program!The Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) awards graduate fellowships to candidates who have demonstrated social commitment, leadership and academic achievement. The IFP reaches out to a new generation of potential leaders from groups and communities that have traditionally lacked access to higher education and know at first hand the problems facing their countries and communities. Worldwide, IFP is being implemented in 22 countries and territories in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, as well as Russia. |
After earning his degree in Mass Communication, Joebel worked with PLAN International, first as a researcher and later, Project Officer for five years. His stint with PLAN paved way for his active involvement in programs and projects that are community-based. His current job with the Department of Social Welfare and Development has brought him back to his mother’s province, Ifugao.
